Lesson

Trying to teach my 3 year old kid that it is OK to get out of bed at night instead of sitting in there yelling for her mommy or daddy. Her mom made this cool jar to collect marbles every time she gets out of bed and since it started, she has only gotten 2. Since I was in the kids' room last night, I took a marble for myself since I got out on my own without yelling for any help. Not sure she got the lesson, but at least I tried. 

Last minute plan.

Oi. I was going to just hang out in the tree in the parent's room and got stuck on this ball on the way up. Damn felt body.

Bird's Eye View

Riding a dinosaur. This was an awesome idea. Good thing I chose the one that stays inflated because from up here I saw two others from the heard that were loosing air. That would have been interesting.

Next time remind me to pack a scarf and possibly rethink this idea. At least this spot was comfy. Last year, I got stuck eating queso on the lazy susan in the fridge and I almost hurled twice. 

Hangin' with the g-rents.

My kids' grandparents came in to town today and since the cats and dog get shut out of their room when they visit, I thought this would be a great place to hang out. It was double the excitement. The kids came in to see their grandparents early in the morning and found me there as well. It was awesome!

Sometimes it's just nice to hang out with the other famous people so I decided to check in with my peeps and catch up.

Now why didn't I think of this spot in the first place?

This house doesn't have a fireplace, so they got creative with the stockings. I am going to have to remind Santa that he needs his special key. Maybe I'll bring it with me one day because you know that the 3 year old is going to start asking about it. She's a smart one that kid!
